This page describes the iPhone app and the TV app as they work today.
The short version
- No account, no sign-in, no purchases.
- No microphone.
- The apps have no ads, no analytics, no tracking, and no advertising or device IDs.
- The camera picture goes from your iPhone to your TV over your home Wi‑Fi. Neither app saves it or uploads it to any device outside your home.
- In India and Japan, this website runs Meta's pixel for our Facebook and Instagram ads.
What the iPhone app uses
- The back camera. The app works out where you are and how you move on the phone itself, while you play.
- Motion sensors, to know how the phone is tilted on its stand.
- Local network, to find your TV and talk to it.
It does not use the microphone, your location, your contacts, or your photos, and it never saves a picture.
What goes to your TV
Everything below goes straight from the phone to the TV address you typed in, over your home network. It does not go to the internet.
- While you set up: a picture of the room, so you can see where to stand.
- While you play: a picture of you, how you move, and your score.
The TV shows these and does not save them. This connection is not encrypted, so it is as private as your home Wi‑Fi: keep your Wi‑Fi protected with a password.
Downloading episodes
The iPhone downloads the episodes it plays from our server. These requests carry no name, account or ID. Like any web server, ours sees the internet address a request comes from, and may keep it in its logs.
What stays on your devices
- On the iPhone: your TV's local address, your settings, and the downloaded episodes.
- On the TV: your phone's local address, your settings, and the downloaded episodes.
Deleting an app deletes what it kept. Your phone or TV may include an app's settings in its own backups, and if you have turned on sharing crash reports with app developers, Apple or Google may pass those on to us.
If you ask to hear from us
When you type your email address or WhatsApp number into the Notify me box, it reaches us as an email sent by Web3Forms, the service behind the box, together with the region you were shown prices for and the language of the page. If you press Email with mail app instead, your own mail app sends us the email. If one of our ads brought you to the site, the email's subject names that ad. Either way, we keep your address or number only to answer your request.
When you write to support@zungroo.com, we keep your email address and message to answer you.
We do not share your address or number, or add you to anything you did not ask for. Ask us any time to delete it.
If you tell us it's not for you
The Not for me box asks for no name or address. If you press Send, the reasons you picked and anything you typed reach us as an email sent by Web3Forms, with the region and the language of the page, and the ad that brought you to the site, if one did.
This website
This site counts visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and does not identify you: it sees the page you open, the site you came from, and your country, browser and type of device. It counts presses of the site's buttons the same way, including the reasons you pick in the Not for me box, never what you type. It also counts when you reach the end of a page, and when you keep a page on your screen for 30 seconds. To show the right price and language, your browser reads your device's time zone and language, and if you pick a region or a language at the foot of a page, your browser remembers it. If one of our ads brought you here, it also remembers which ad. None of this is sent anywhere, except the region, the language and the ad that come with a Notify me request or a Not for me answer, and what Meta's pixel sends in India and Japan. Vercel, the company that hosts the site, keeps standard server logs, such as the address a request came from.
In India and Japan, where we advertise on Facebook and Instagram, the site also runs Meta's pixel: on every page, when your device is set to India's or Japan's time zone or you pick India or Japan at the foot of a page. It tells Meta Platforms which of our pages you open, the link that brought you here, when you reach the end of a page or keep one on your screen for 30 seconds, and when you press Like or Not for me. When you type your email address or WhatsApp number into the Notify me box and send it, it tells Meta that you did, never the address or number; when you press Send in the Not for me box, it tells Meta which reasons you picked, never what you type. It sets a cookie to do so, and Meta can link what it learns to your Facebook or Instagram account. We use it to see what our ads bring, and to show them to people likely to want Zungroo rather than to people it doesn't suit. Meta's privacy policy says what Meta does with it, and your Facebook and Instagram ad settings let you limit it. Otherwise, the site loads nothing from Meta.
